We had a little family birthday party for him while my parents were in town. There was cake of course.
There was also a whirlwind of present unwrapping.
This morning before school Adam, Abby and I gave him his presents from us.
Adam and Abby gave him Exago.
I gave him his photo book for the 2007-2008 year. It was a big hit. He'd asked about it for quite some time because obviously I was behind. He'd given up asking the last couple of months so he was pretty surprised this morning. I love this series of photos despite the fact that they are kind of hazy.
Before the kids had looked all the way through Andrew's book, Adam and Abby had gone to get theirs.
For dinner tonight, he's gone back and forth between wanting pizza and going to Quaker Steak & Lube where he's gone for the past 5 birthday dinners. We'll see what wins out...

Creating a book for each of the children each year seems like a really good idea. Wish your baby a Happy birthday. God bless you and yours.
How awesome that he turned six today!! What a good idea to make a photo book for each of your kids. Does it take a while to do? I would love to do that for each of mine, but I can just imagine the time involved, but I love that kind of stuff.
Happy Birthday, Andrew!
What a nice day we had. Thanks for the excellent meal, Tricia and the fun party. I also can't believe that Andrew is 6. I remember so vividly the day he was born. The photo books are great. They'll be keepsakes for the kids.
Love you guys,
Aunt Saundra
SIX??? Oh Andrew, how can you possibly be so big now? It seems like just yesterday that Ian and I stopped by the hospital the morning after you were born to meet you before we left for France.
In my mind you will always be that smiling little baby that I had the privilege of caring for your first summer! I love you little guy!
Wish we were still there to celebrate with him. But I think we needed to get out of your hair and let your house get back to normal.
Just can't believe he is six already. They grow up too fast!
Love, Grandma
