The Snow Fell

We awoke this morning to the glorious news of a Snow Day. Keep in mind that it doesn't take much snow to close schools in the south. We had a great time this morning.

There were snow angels to be made.

Smiles to share.

Some more devious than others.

There was sliding to be done.

A3 tried rolling down the hill.

He was screaming, "I LOVE YOU MOMMY!"

At the end of the time we spent outside, this is what A3 looked like.
Hot chocolate was enjoyed by all--the cool whip was enjoyed by some more than others. I know for sure that A1 had at least 3 "helpings" of the cool whip. That's what snow days are for.

Fun with Plates

After church today we headed to Aunt Saundra's for a wonderful lunch. After dessert the boys put the plates to good use. Kristi, these are for you...wish you had been there.

I also was given a new lens (thanks Tory!!). I'm lovin' it!

Random Conversations

Andrew: Mommy, Miss Karen looked really pretty today.

Me: Really? Why was she so pretty today?

Andrew: Well, she was pretty when she took her top off.

Maybe I should spend some time at the school...

And at the dinner table Abby was discussing her friend "V".

Andrew: Oh yeah, I know her.

Abby: Really? What color is she?

Andrew: I don't know.

Abby: Then you don't know her. She's brown. What about "B"? Do you know her? What color is she?

Andrew: I don't know.

Abby: She's [points to her cheek], with a little bit of brown.

Less movies and more conversation. I like hearing the things they think about.

He's Supposed to Be Sleeping

Instead he's trying on hats and making faces at me.

And finally, he sleeps, still wearing the hat. You never know how cold it's going to get in the house at night.
