Pumpkin Patch

Last night we went to the Pumpkin Patch with some very good friends. The weather has been beautiful here for the past couple of days and yesterday afternoon was no exception. This particular pumpkin patch is run by my friend's church. We stayed there for over an hour picking out pumpkins and letting the kids run and have a great time.

At the pumpkin patch, Abby learned that one of her classmates from last year is in the hospital in ICU and on a venilator. This girl has H1N1 and from what I understand the doctors are uncertain what else is going on with her. Would you please pray for Julia?

I love the hay bale pumpkins! I will pray for Julia. It could just be H1N1. When they strike, the complications to that are fierce. May God pour His blessings out on you all.

Great pictures, but am freaking out about Abby's friend Julia. Will certainly pray for her, her family and her little friends. Very concerning since I have a child with it now!!! It is going around like mad @ my kid's schools. Is it bad there?

Looks like you guys had a perfect day for the pumpkin patch. I love all that warm sunny light.

I'm sorry to hear about this Julie. This is scary stuff. Will pray!

We so need to get to a pumpkin patch ourselves! But today the state fair calls...
I'm praying for Julia too. This whole epidemic is freaky as some doctors seem to be saying it isn't so bad, yet I know of several kids in her same condition. Let's agree to pray that our own kids are spared!

I hope I get to got the pumpkin patch this year! I haven't carved a pumpkin in at least 2 years, I hope to break that cycle this year.
