I've been doing a lot of thinking lately about how tough life can be. The current economic situation, relationships, single parenting. One thing I keep coming back to is this. No matter how tough the situations, God is Good. All the time. And all the time, God is right on time. He's never late. His timing is seldom my timing (because for those of you who know me well, you know that I'm not a very patient person), but He is never late. There are so many times that I would have liked for Him to arrive more quickly. But in hindsight, I know that I would not have learned the things God wanted me to learn if things had happened in my timing.
It's so amazing how even in the darkest storms, God reveals His beauty to us every day.
To the more delicate blossoms
To the prickly thorns
God is always good. God is always on time.
Sometimes, we just have to be still and KNOW that He is God.

Oh how I can relate to not being a patient person myself! But more and more lately when I stop to reflect over things that took so much longer than I wanted (mainly the years of waiting to be a mom) I see how AMAZING God's timing was. And it gives me hope as we wait for Darcy...
