Easter

The kids spent Easter morning/afternoon with their dad. My parents were in town and after church and soaking up some sun on the patio, we headed over to my Aunt Saundra's for lunch and her birthday celebration. The kids hunted their Easter eggs with their dad, but Kristi let them join in the fun with her kids as well. Ever notice how once your kids hit a certain age the egg hunt isn't so much about the joy and astonishment of finding an egg lying in the grass, but about the quantity of eggs you find and who had the most at the end of the day? They started out calm enough, but as soon as they got the word, it was a different story.

He's Off

See what I mean?

Kylie

Kylie is so sweet. When we were saying our goodbyes, she thanked me for playing Play-Doh with her (something we did before lunch and this was well into the evening).

Caleb

I know this has some harsh shadows, but Caleb is just too cute not to post.

Some random shots of the afternoon.

Abigail & The Look

Checking out the Candy

I like these two photos of Abby a lot, but they each have someone in the frame. I've got to learn how to get rid of things like that.

And here's one that doesn't have anyone else in the frame, but the lighting is just not the same as above.

Kylie Tickles Andrew

Kylie is "getting Andrew's tickles."

And let's not forget the real reason for Easter. He is Risen...And It Is Finished! Praise God for that!

He Is Risen!

It's good to remember that we are all sinners saved by His grace.

I love how you are always able to capture personalities in your photography! From Kylie's quiet pondering of what to do next to Andrew's Nerd eating exuberance you caught each of the kids that day!
And I really like the last photo!

Beautiful pictures. That pretty well sums it up. (One thing missing - Abby's "gap")

Your photos tell such a great story! I really enjoyed looking at them. The two of Abby toward the end are stunning!
