They're Back

I have the best parents! Last week was Spring Break for my kids and they spent the week with Grandma and Grandpa in Ohio. Grandma and Grandpa drove down to get them, took them to Ohio and then drove them back Saturday afternoon. Did I say that my parents are the best? It seems that I never get a picture of all three kids with Grandma and Grandpa. Unfortunately, my parents were leaving on Sunday morning and my mom wasn't feeling well, but she was a trooper and stood for a picture anyway.

The kids had a great time and I've heard several mumblings of "I miss Grandma and Grandpa" Sunday afternoon and evening.

Sunday afternoon I was trying to get a picture of Abby for the We Picture This Mamarazzi Photoblog. It was drizzling rain, so the kids were playing with the umbrellas. I can't remember why she was upset (I think it had something to do with Andrew), but this is what she looked like. I do love her long, slender fingers.

You do have great parents ~ I'm not sure that I would be willing to make that drive two weekends in a row!
Did Adam take his camera? If so I'd be curious to see what that little "shutterbug in training" decided to capture!

Can I say I was complaining about driving from one county to another all the while getting paid for it? I don't think I could do two round trips in a week. Grandparents would do anything, huh? I say my mom no longer thinks of me as her child, but as parent of her grandkids! LOL!

Great pictures...got to work on my skills and my quest for a camera upgrade.

Love the pictures of the kids with the umbrellas - so colorful! I can't believe how TALL Adam is next to your Mom - my gosh has he grown.

Your kids surely do love their grandparents - is it any wonder why? They are always there when you need them. Sorry your Mom felt badly when they had that long drive ahead of them.
